<br />
<a href="http://www.pollycraftdesigns.co.uk/epages/es110425.sf">Pollycraft </a>is offering up a freebie for using an older freebie image. I used the freebie that is being offered on their website called Codi. I love this image. So "Rock-tastic!"<br />
You can find Codi <a href="http://pollycraftdesigns.blogspot.com/">here</a>. I colored her with my copic markers, cut her out with my spellbinders Nestabilities, adhered her to some cute black and pink paper from The Paper Studio, added some awesome pink and black flowers from Petaloo and Prima and the sentiment is from the You Rock stamp set from Close To My Heart. <br />
<br />
I hope you enjoy rocking out with her!!'<br />

Tilda ~ Magnolia store US<br />
Flowers ~ Prima and Crafta.com<br />

<br />
Yes, I'm still here, I've been busy creating a new blog for my Magnolia cards so I've neglected this blog for a while. If you'd like to take a sneak peek over at my other blog you can find it <a href="http://simplymagnolias.blogspot.com/">here</a>. I'd love to see what you think of it. Like I said, it's strictly for my Maggies. I will have to create a card that doesn't involve a Magnolia image and post it here just to keep this blog alive! <br />
<br />
Thanks for following me,<br />

<br />
I made this card a couple weeks ago then I got sick and wasn't able to post it so I'm posting it now. You can find this card for sale in my etsy shop also. This card measures 4.25X4.25 but is packed with so much detail!<br />
The image is from High Hopes Stamps which no longer sells to the public but can be found at <a href="http://www.7kidscollegefund.com/LENNY_S_LOVE_ME_NOTS_High_Hopes_Rubber_Stamp_p/hhs110.htm">7 Kids College Fund</a>. The clouds were made from cotton, the "sun" is a paper flower from Prima with a button for the center. I adhered lots of glitter to the button, then added mini brads and a smile to make him a happy sun!<br />
I colored the image with my copic markers and added a little spica glitter to the wings and spots. He's popped off the card for added dimension. What a cutie! <br />
<br />

<br />
This card was made using the Cheeky Shooter image from <a href="http://www.thegreetingfarm.com/">The Greeting Farm</a>. How cute is she? I have them all, I love them all!<br />
This is another easel card (I'm addicted, can't you tell?) The inside sentiment was typed up on my computer and printed in brown ink to match the card. The background was random stamped using images from <a href="http://www.cleardollarstamps.com/proddetail.php?prod=5427">Clear Dollar Stamps</a>. The flowers are from Prima, the brads and brown ribbon are from Close To My Heart, and the horseshoes were cut from my cricut. <br />
This card and many of my other cards is for sale on my etsy shop, see my side bar for the link. <br />

We were challenged to make a card or project using a song as inspiration. When I saw this stamp from <a href="http://www.mygrafico.com/digital-stamps/carousel-horse/prod_1782.html">The Carousel Horse</a> set I knew I was going to use The Carousel Waltz from The Ray Martin Orchestra (1956) as my inspiration. I always loved carousels as a child, the song being my favorite part.<br />
<br />
Here is the card I created. It's an easel card this time. It's not much as I've been sick in bed for a week and just now starting to feel somewhat normal but I gave it my best shot. I pretty much just printed it out the same size as my card and adhered it to the front of my CS. <br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_Za7i_pr19WU/S7ll06w5eHI/AAAAAAAAAOo/CC06w90LmaU/s1600/DSC_0083.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_Za7i_pr19WU/S7ll06w5eHI/AAAAAAAAAOo/CC06w90LmaU/s400/DSC_0083.jpg" width="360" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />

Not fair! <br />
<br />
I'm sorry I haven't been around much this past week, I've been down and out with a head/chest infection. I'm just now starting to feel semi-normal (if that's even possible). Now my little boy has the same thing, it's certainly made it's rounds in the house. Anyway, just wanted to let you know I'm still here, just trying to rest and re-coup so I can get back to business. <br />
<br />
Thanks!<br />

I created a paper flower jar for my many, many paper flowers. I just don't like dumping them all out to find the one I want so I used a wide mouth jar (it's a pickle jar) so I can just reach my hand in and grab the one I want. <br />
I used <a href="http://www.mygrafico.com/digital-stamps/doodle-flowers-digital-stamp-set/prod_1391.html">Doodle Flowers</a> from <a href="http://www.mygrafico.com/lindsay-39-s-stamp-stuff/aff_100.html">Lindsay's Stamp Stuff</a> and made it 3-dimensional by popping a second flower over the original and adding a fun corduroy brad to the center. I typed up "Paper Flowers" on my computer with the Curlz font. I painted the lid of my jar with CTMH's Create-a-Shade pearl paint with a few drops of Holiday Red re-inker to make it pink to match my paper from The Paper Studio. The ribbon around the rim of the lid is from JoAnn's and the brads are from CTMH. The circle sentiment on top is also from <a href="http://www.mygrafico.com/digital-stamps/doodle-flowers-digital-stamp-set/prod_1391.html">Doodle Flowers</a>.<br />

Now I know it's past already but we usually send her cards in May so that's what this one is for. My mum will be heading there in a couple of weeks and will be taking this with her so I wanted to get it on my blog before it was gone! <br />
<br />
I used one of my favorite Magnolia's on this card. I colored her in greens and when I made my card I was sure I had done her in blue's but she does match. The paper I used is from TLC and the flowers are from CTMH and Prima. The little charm is also from CTMH. Ribbon is from TLC. I colored her with copics. She is popped off the page for a more dimensional look. There is a ribbon slide under the knot and the safety pin to hold the charm that says LOVE. I used little pearls on each of the flowers on the card. <br />
<br />
It started out as a standard card like the one shown in the photograph but has since then been converted to an easel card so my Nana can display it! <br />

Join us on our journey through the other blogs and see what wonderful creations are out there using our Magnolia's which can be purchased at the Magnolia Store <a href="http://www.magnoliastamps.us/store2/">here</a>. <br />
<br />
If your coming from <a href="http://playingwithcolor.blogspot.com/">Deb Zachrich's</a> blog then you're on the right track, if you've started here, then you'll need to go back to <a href="http://stampincabin.blogspot.com/">Julie Glasgow's</a> Blog and start from the beginning, I'd hate for you to miss any of these gorgeous projects!<br />
<br />
The card I created for this blog hop is an easel card and it's a 4.5x4.5 sized card. Paper used is from Rusty Pickle and Karen Foster Designs. Ribbon is from JoAnn's. Flower punch is EK Success. Stem punch is Martha Stewart. And the image, of course, is our very own Tilda with Piglet from the So Jolly Under The Mistletoe line. I colored her with copic markers. I will give the details of the colors I used below the photograph. <br />

Say that 3 times fast...<br />
<br />
I created this easel card today using only black, white, gray, and red. It's my take on a monochromatic card with a touch of red. I saw someone else color an image in all grays and I absolutely loved it (I'm sorry, I can't remember who it was and I scoured the internet looking too). I used a Magnolia image and Copic colors C1, C3, C5 and C7. I also used the Copic Spica Glitter Pens for her wings and the hearts but it may be hard to see in the pictures. The paper is from DCWV Glitter Stack and CTMH. Flowers are from Prima and the sentiment, safety pin and charm are from CTMH. <br />
<br />
This is my 2nd Tilda and my first try at the easel card and I'm quite pleased *toot toot*<br />
<br />
I hope you like her! And guess what? I have no idea what I'm going to do with her!<br />

This is my project for this challenge. It's an Easter basket made from card stock. I used the tutorial from Whimsie Doodles Tuesday Tutorial found <a href="http://whimsiedoodles.blogspot.com/2010/03/tuesday-tutorial.html">here</a>. It was so easy to follow and such fun to make. The image I used is a cute little bunny from Lindsay's Stamp Stuff called <a href="http://www.mygrafico.com/digital-stamps/cute-easter-digital-stamps/prod_1947.html">Cute Easter</a>. I adhered him to a jumbo paper clip and clipped him to the back of the basket. I made the grass from green card stock that I cut into thin strips and crumpled with my hands. Great way to relieve some stress :) The sentiment I typed up myself on my computer using the<br />
"cracked" font. I inked the edges a bit with Amethyst ink from Close To My Heart and popped it off the front of the basket. I hope you'll try this easy basket and use the cute Easter images from <a href="http://www.mygrafico.com/lindsay-39-s-stamp-stuff/aff_100.html">Lindsay's Stamp Stuff</a>.<br />

This is for the March Mingle on the Magnolia-licious Yahoo group. I used "<a href="http://www.7kidscollegefund.com/LOVES_ME_TILDA_Magnolia_Lazy_Summer_Days_p/maglmt-lsd.htm">Loves Me Tilda</a>" purchased from <a href="http://www.7kidscollegefund.com/">7 Kids College Fund</a>. I really enjoy looking at this card, it's by far the best card I think I have ever made. So much time went into making this card. I'm sad to see it go but I know the person who receives it will enjoy it as much as I do! I'll just have to go make another one :)<br />

This is the very first Magnolia card my 12 year old daughter made. Some talent huh!?! I haven't even made a Magnolia card yet. She colored the image all by herself even the shading of the hair (which I've been trying to teach her). She wanted to do Suzanne Dean's Scandinavian look but it will take more time to teach so she went with the basic coloring and shading. I'm such a proud mommy :)<br />
This card is to give to her brother's Kindergarten teacher who is always giving her gifts for helping in the classroom. What a sweetie! <br />

<br />
This is the card I made for my mom and dad for their 32nd Anniversary tomorrow, yep, they were married on St. Patrick's Day and on a ship no less! How fun! <br />
Ok, back to my card...I used the Secret to Marriage digi stamp from <a href="http://www.bugaboostamps.com/">Bugaboo</a>. This is also for the challenge this week on the <a href="http://catchthebugblog.blogspot.com/2010/03/its-sketch-challenge-today-wont-you.html">Catch The Bug</a> Challenge Blog. Check it out! <br />

Just decorate and you're ready to go. Below are the details and some pics to follow along with. </div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: center;">Step 1. Start with a plain envelope</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_Za7i_pr19WU/S5fdgi2PRjI/AAAAAAAAAI8/qUy-NGVoN5M/s1600-h/DSC_0001.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="200" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_Za7i_pr19WU/S5fdgi2PRjI/AAAAAAAAAI8/qUy-NGVoN5M/s200/DSC_0001.jpg" width="133" /></a></div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: center;">Step 2. Print out a fun Digital image like the one I have chosen here from </div><div style="text-align: center;"><a href="http://www.mygrafico.com/lindsay-39-s-stamp-stuff/aff_100.html">Lindsay's Stamp Stuff </a> called <a href="http://www.mygrafico.com/digital-stamps/coffee-talk-digital-stamp-set/prod_1339.html">Coffee Talk </a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_Za7i_pr19WU/S5feG_Un1vI/AAAAAAAAAJE/vb10qMRYcEI/s1600-h/DSC_0002.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="200" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_Za7i_pr19WU/S5feG_Un1vI/AAAAAAAAAJE/vb10qMRYcEI/s200/DSC_0002.jpg" width="131" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Step 3. Seal the envelope</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_Za7i_pr19WU/S5fePLCWWNI/AAAAAAAAAJM/KOziUZ9UPS4/s1600-h/DSC_0003.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="200" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_Za7i_pr19WU/S5fePLCWWNI/AAAAAAAAAJM/KOziUZ9UPS4/s200/DSC_0003.jpg" width="133" /></a><br />
<div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: center;">Step 4. Using decorative scissors, cut the top of the envelope off</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_Za7i_pr19WU/S5feaWjxvEI/AAAAAAAAAJU/y_IAC7VnPVg/s1600-h/DSC_0004.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="200" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_Za7i_pr19WU/S5feaWjxvEI/AAAAAAAAAJU/y_IAC7VnPVg/s200/DSC_0004.JPG" width="128" /></a></div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: center;">Step 5. Fold in both sides and the bottom of the envelope about 3/4" to 1" </div><div style="text-align: center;">(please forgive the lighting, my camera went funny on me)</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_Za7i_pr19WU/S5fetcbglUI/AAAAAAAAAJc/dKokcB6rpsQ/s1600-h/DSC_0006.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="200" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_Za7i_pr19WU/S5fetcbglUI/AAAAAAAAAJc/dKokcB6rpsQ/s200/DSC_0006.JPG" width="158" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Step 6. This is where it can get tricky. Stick your hand down inside the envelope (I used a letter sized envie and my hand didn't fit very well LOL) </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Push the bottom of the bag up to make a flat surface, also push out the sides to create the "bag" look. Taking the bottom corners, fold them in towards each other and adhere with glue dots or double stick tape. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_Za7i_pr19WU/S5ffMl8QbwI/AAAAAAAAAJk/enw_OE8vDHY/s1600-h/DSC_0007.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="133" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_Za7i_pr19WU/S5ffMl8QbwI/AAAAAAAAAJk/enw_OE8vDHY/s200/DSC_0007.JPG" width="200" /></a><br />
<div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: center;">Step 7. This is what the envelope should look like if you have done the steps correctly</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_Za7i_pr19WU/S5fftTfbDMI/AAAAAAAAAJ0/N1pvEK_0VWA/s1600-h/DSC_0010.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="http://2.bp.blogspot.com/_Za7i_pr19WU/S5fftTfbDMI/AAAAAAAAAJ0/N1pvEK_0VWA/s400/DSC_0010.JPG" width="158" /></a></div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: center;">Step 8. Now you can color your image (if you haven't done this already)</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_Za7i_pr19WU/S5ffiSOVyLI/AAAAAAAAAJs/Uhe6uy5O9Ws/s1600-h/DSC_0013.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="200" src="http://4.bp.blogspot.com/_Za7i_pr19WU/S5ffiSOVyLI/AAAAAAAAAJs/Uhe6uy5O9Ws/s200/DSC_0013.JPG" width="133" /></a></div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">Step 9. Punch two holes either on the top of the bag to create handles, or as I have done here, fold the flap over and punch holes to thread ribbon through. </div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">(please forgive the black smear, my punch did it, not me LOL)</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_Za7i_pr19WU/S5fgFWu-8GI/AAAAAAAAAJ8/r0U3ZgZD-p8/s1600-h/DSC_0014.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="164" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_Za7i_pr19WU/S5fgFWu-8GI/AAAAAAAAAJ8/r0U3ZgZD-p8/s200/DSC_0014.JPG" width="200" /></a><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">This is what the finished product should look like. You're envelopes can be any size depending on what size bag you need. You can use the big mailing envelopes for a larger bag or the small invitation envelopes for a small bag. I hope you will give this a try, it's fun to create your own bag and matching card for a very special friend :)</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><br />
</div><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_Za7i_pr19WU/S5fgfQMyypI/AAAAAAAAAKE/aGk8r8eiGMM/s1600-h/DSC_0012.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="400" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_Za7i_pr19WU/S5fgfQMyypI/AAAAAAAAAKE/aGk8r8eiGMM/s400/DSC_0012.JPG" width="186" /></a><br />
<div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: center;"><br />
</div><div style="text-align: left;">Products used:</div><div style="text-align: left;">Digital Stamp: Coffee Talk (Lindsay's Stamp Stuff)</div><div style="text-align: left;">Envelope (standard letter size)</div><div style="text-align: left;">Copics for coloring image</div><div style="text-align: left;">Ribbon<br />

It reminds me so much of when I was a little girl. Cat's make me happy! This stamp set, <a href="http://www.mygrafico.com/freebies/cat-hug/prod_826.html">Jesse Hugs A Cat </a> was a freebie from <a href="http://www.mygrafico.com/clip-art-and-scrap/aff_85.html">Clipart and Scrap</a>! Check them out!<br />
<br />
I used faux stitching from <a href="http://www.closetomyheart.com/">CTMH</a><br />
Paper from one of those Stacks (Love the fish!)<br />
RIbbon from JoAnn's<br />
Colored using <a href="http://www.copicmarker.com/">Copic</a> Markers<br />
I also distressed the edges using one of those neat edge distressers that tears up your paper.<br />
Although you can't see it (at all) the image was popped off the page for a more dimensional look.<br />
<br />

Our theme for the week was to use sewing on our project (real or stamped) I chose stamped as I fight with a sewing maching and I always LOSE! This was such a fun stamp set to use. I layered up the flower as much as I could. I also used the ribbon for the stem rather than using the one from the stamp. I do like how this card turned out. It's simple yet says it all!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_Za7i_pr19WU/S5VC0OaZWpI/AAAAAAAAAIU/J74Cs1SqliU/s1600-h/DSC_0001.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://1.bp.blogspot.com/_Za7i_pr19WU/S5VC0OaZWpI/AAAAAAAAAIU/J74Cs1SqliU/s320/DSC_0001.JPG" /></a></div><div style="text-align: center;">Here is a more detailed picture of the flower and the layering</div><div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;"><a href="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_Za7i_pr19WU/S5VC5JW3jOI/AAAAAAAAAIc/-9mFgHQKVJQ/s1600-h/DSC_0003.JPG" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_Za7i_pr19WU/S5VC5JW3jOI/AAAAAAAAAIc/-9mFgHQKVJQ/s320/DSC_0003.JPG" /></a></div><br />
The products I used on this card were:<br />
<a href="http://copicmarker.com/">Copics</a> to color (no shading done this time, sorry)<br />
<a href="http://www.closetomyheart.com/">CTMH</a> for the sentiment and the stitching<br />
<a href="http://www.mygrafico.com/lindsay-39-s-stamp-stuff/aff_100.html">Lindsay's Stamp Stuff</a> for the digi stamp (<a href="http://www.mygrafico.com/digital-stamps/doodle-flowers-digital-stamp-set/prod_1391.html">Doodle Flowers</a>)<br />
Paper is from CTMH<br />
Ribbon from JoAnn's<br />
<br />
Techniques used for this card were:<br />
Edge distressing with sand paper<br />
<br />

Well, are ya???I just LOVE this image from <a href="http://www.bugaboostamps.com/">Bugaboo Stamps</a>. She's the March Calendar Girl. Isn't she great!!?? I used my copics to color her in, I pop dotted her dress (hard to see in the pic) so the bottom is actually out farther than her top and her waist is glued down, I promise, it's really neat in person, I also added some great little pearl dots for her shoes and some little prima flowers from CTMH to line the edge. I'd love to tell you where I got the paper and mesh but I can't remember cause I've had it for so long but I found it just in time for this card. I hope you like it! <br />

Ok, this has got to be the WORST lighting ever. <br />
<br />
Now that I got that off my chest, here is my Superstar Anya card from <a href="http://www.thegreetingfarm.com/">The Greeting Farm</a>. I just LOVE her! Why didn't I find her sooner!! <br />
I colored her with my <a href="http://www.copicmarker.com/">copics</a> (of course, that's all I use). She is stamped in black and cut out and placed on white CS from CTMH. I then created a sidewalk around her (I learned how to do that from an awesome tutorial on youtube). The YOU SHINE sentiment is from Close To My Heart as well as the red CS and the star stamp. The stars at the top of the card are popped up for a more 3-D feel. I am going to use this card for a random stamping swap I am in. Hope you like it!!<br />

Whew! Boy has it been a long time since I've posted anything...OK, back into the swing of things now...Here is my latest card. Another <a href="http://www.stampingbella.com/">Stamping Bella</a> stamp called GRATTY-tude, I just love how stinkin' cute she is. I colored here with Copic markers and the card is made from <a href="http://www.closetomyheart.com/">Close To My Heart</a> CS and ink, also the sentiment is from CTMH! I hope you like her, you may see her for sale one day when I pluck up the courage to sell my creations. <br />
<br />
Thanks for looking and happy stamping!<br />

This is one of the newer released Bellas. I love this one, it's so much fun! Again, I colored her with copic markers. I can't remember the name of the company that the paper came from but I love it too. I added a few gemstones for some sparkle and viola, a cute card for submission of the Friday Bellarific Sketch Challenge. Enjoy!!Unknownnoreply@blogger.com0
