Sharp Shooter

I think I love this card the most of all my cards...I think...

This card was made using the Cheeky Shooter image from The Greeting Farm.  How cute is she?  I have them all, I love them all!
This is another easel card (I'm addicted, can't you tell?) The inside sentiment was typed up on my computer and printed in brown ink to match the card.  The background was random stamped using images from Clear Dollar Stamps.  The flowers are from Prima, the brads and brown ribbon are from Close To My Heart, and the horseshoes were cut from my cricut.
This card and many of my other cards is for sale on my etsy shop, see my side bar for the link.

Thanks for looking and have a scrappy day!

Mother's Day Magnolia

In Europe Mother's Day is in March, I live in the US and it's in May, since I can't get a Mother's Day card for my Nana in Scotland I decided to make my own.  Now I know it's past already but we usually send her cards in May so that's what this one is for.  My mum will be heading there in a couple of weeks and will be taking this with her so I wanted to get it on my blog before it was gone!

I used one of my favorite Magnolia's on this card.  I colored her in greens and when I made my card I was sure I had done her in blue's but she does match.  The paper I used is from TLC and the flowers are from CTMH and Prima.  The little charm is also from CTMH.  Ribbon is from TLC.  I colored her with copics.  She is popped off the page for a more dimensional look.  There is a ribbon slide under the knot and the safety pin to hold the charm that says LOVE.  I used little pearls on each of the flowers on the card.

It started out as a standard card like the one shown in the photograph but has since then been converted to an easel card so my Nana can display it!

Monochromatic Magnolia...

Whew!  Say that 3 times fast...

I created this easel card today using only black, white, gray, and red. It's my take on a monochromatic card with a touch of red.  I saw someone else color an image in all grays and I absolutely loved it (I'm sorry, I can't remember who it was and I scoured the internet looking too).  I used a Magnolia image and Copic colors C1, C3, C5 and C7.  I also used the Copic Spica Glitter Pens for her wings and the hearts but it may be hard to see in the pictures.  The paper is from DCWV Glitter Stack and CTMH. Flowers are from Prima and the sentiment, safety pin and charm are from CTMH.

This is my 2nd Tilda and my first try at the easel card and I'm quite pleased *toot toot*

I hope you like her! And guess what?  I have no idea what I'm going to do with her!

He Loves me...

This is my very first ever Magnolia card.  This is for the March Mingle on the Magnolia-licious Yahoo group.  I used "Loves Me Tilda" purchased from 7 Kids College Fund.  I really enjoy looking at this card, it's by far the best card I think I have ever made.  So much time went into making this card.  I'm sad to see it go but I know the person who receives it will enjoy it as much as I do!  I'll just have to go make another one :)

Here is another shot of the details of my card:

Brads/gem/safety pin/buckle ~ Close To My Heart

I'm SEW Happy!

Here is my very first card as a design team member over at Lindsay's Stamp Stuff.  Our theme for the week was to use sewing on our project (real or stamped) I chose stamped as I fight with a sewing maching and I always LOSE!  This was such a fun stamp set to use.  I layered up the flower as much as I could.  I also used the ribbon for the stem rather than using the one from the stamp.  I do like how this card turned out.  It's simple yet says it all!

Here is a more detailed picture of the flower and the layering

The products I used on this card were:
Copics to color (no shading done this time, sorry)
CTMH for the sentiment and the stitching
Lindsay's Stamp Stuff for the digi stamp (Doodle Flowers)
Paper is from CTMH
Ribbon from JoAnn's

Techniques used for this card were:
Edge distressing with sand paper

Don't forget to swing by the other Design Team members blogs and see what wonderful creations they have come up with using stitching.

You Shine card with Superstar Anya from TGF

Ok, this has got to be the WORST lighting ever.

Now that I got that off my chest, here is my Superstar Anya card from The Greeting Farm. I just LOVE her! Why didn't I find her sooner!!
I colored her with my copics (of course, that's all I use). She is stamped in black and cut out and placed on white CS from CTMH. I then created a sidewalk around her (I learned how to do that from an awesome tutorial on youtube). The YOU SHINE sentiment is from Close To My Heart as well as the red CS and the star stamp. The stars at the top of the card are popped up for a more 3-D feel. I am going to use this card for a random stamping swap I am in. Hope you like it!!

GRATTY-tude Thinking of You card

Whew! Boy has it been a long time since I've posted anything...OK, back into the swing of things now...Here is my latest card. Another Stamping Bella stamp called GRATTY-tude, I just love how stinkin' cute she is. I colored here with Copic markers and the card is made from Close To My Heart CS and ink, also the sentiment is from CTMH! I hope you like her, you may see her for sale one day when I pluck up the courage to sell my creations.

Thanks for looking and happy stamping!

Here is my latest in Bella creations. This is one of the newer released Bellas. I love this one, it's so much fun! Again, I colored her with copic markers. I can't remember the name of the company that the paper came from but I love it too. I added a few gemstones for some sparkle and viola, a cute card for submission of the Friday Bellarific Sketch Challenge. Enjoy!!

For You card using a stamp by Sarah Kay

OMG! I absolutely LOVE these stamps by Sarah Kay...I want more...LOL!!! No, seriously, these have to be one of the cutest stamps on the market and I only have 2 of them, can you believe it!?!?! I had so much fun coloring her in with my Copic markers. I wish the pink on her hat was a little more subtle but hey...I've only got 62 Copics and only 2 of them are light enough, almost too light...I mosaiced (is that even a word??) this card, I really like the mosaic look, it draws the eye to the image more, well I think it does. I inked up the edges of each 1" square with a distressing ink by Ranger Industries, it's the rose one, it gives it a more vintage look and I like that. I then mounted each square onto a piece of coordinating CS about 1/16 of an inch bigger than the original image so that nothing was showing on the outside, just the inside...I inked up the whole thing with ink from CTMH.

Anyway, I hope you like my newest creation! Leave a comment, it makes me smile!

Enjoy!

Thinking of You card

Here is my latest creation. Stamp set used was from Whiff Of Joy stamps. I love this stamp. Also used was Swirly Clouds, also from WOJ, and the dirt is a stamp set from Close To My Heart. I used my copics to color the image. I also used my Cuttlebug to emboss the CS background. I love how this card turned out. Another sentiment that could be used is "I miss you" but I chose "Thinking of you" for this one. I'm not sure what I will do with this card but I really wanted to try out my new stamps. I couldn't just stamp the image and color it, I had to turn it into something right?!?! I hope you like it!

Here is my latest (hm...and only) Bella card. I submitted this one for the Bellarific Monday Sketch! Cross your fingers that it gets selected to be displayed on her blog :)
I used Bubblebella, colored her in with Copic markers and blinged her up some with the Spica Glitter Markers. I really love how she turned out. Paper and CS are from Close to my Heart, colors are Tulip and Creme Brulee! The ribbon is just something I found that matched the Tulip CS closely. The sentiment is also from Stamping Bella and it's on pop dots. This is a mosaic style card. Basically I stamped the image first, colored it in, then cut it into 4 even squares, then I mounted it on CS and cut it to the same size then double matted it onto a coordinating CS. I roughed up the edges a little and VIOLA! A really cute card!!
The camera washed it out a little, it's much prettier in person!

Hope you like it!

Fathers Day Card using 2 different Riley stamps

Whew! It's been a LONG time since I've posted anything...Better get back on track. I recently obtained a new little pup. He's a black lab and his name is Samson. He's 7 weeks old today. I'll post some pics of him later..for now here is the card I made for my dad from my kids for Fathers Day. I used 2 different Riley Moose stamps from Hanna Stamps. I combined the two stamps to make one scene. I got the idea from another blog but I can't remember the name. I loved it so much that I re-created it myself. I'm really happy with the way it turned out. I used my Copic markers to color the images. I created the lake and the little ledge that the Tent Riley is on using just a plain fine point marker then colored the image in with my copics. The size of the card is an unfamiliar size, it's like 3X7 or something along those lines :)

Thanks for looking!

The "REEL" Deal

This is a card I made for Father's Day using Hanna Stamps Riley Moose. I just love this little moose. Anyway, the point of this post is to show off my use of the Copic markers. This was my first attempt at using them and blending them. I think I did good! What do you all think?? Feel free to leave me a comment!
The card base and papers, and the Happy Fathers Day stamp are from Close to my Heart.
